This is a truly authentic and unique way to experience the Greek Island of Lesvos - on the back of a Donkey! Participants will enjoy spectacular views of Molyvos during the day, followed by an evening swim and BBQ against the gorgeous backdrop of a small beach perfect for swimming and watching the sunset.
This oldest and most traditional mode of transport makes this trip unique in its own respect. The donkeys that carry participants up to a mountain village are well looked after, each with its own name and personality. In the evening, there is time for a swim before a scrumptious BBQ while the sun goes down.

- Location: Vafios Village (day) and Eftalou (evening)
DAY TRIP: Participants will trek the quiet local roads to the village of Vafios with its amazing views of Molyvos once they have been given their specially chosen donkey and have saddled up. They may rest there for a while, and if they wish, have lunch before heading back (lunch is not included).
EVENING TRIP: Participants of the evening trip head towards a small cove in Eftalou, where they can swim in the crystal clear Aegean sea or relax on the beach while their BBQ meal is being prepared on a beach fire. The chops, salad and potato, served with bread and wine are enjoyed with some song, chatter, and lovely views. This trip is ideal for families.
